Artist Melani Badz invites us into their Brooklyn apartment, where art and music collide in a dynamic and soulful journey. A multi-dimensional creator, Melani’s signature black patterns flow across clothing, shoes, and even their guitars, seamlessly blending visual art with their musical talents. Whether singing, playing guitar, or producing, their creativity pulses through every corner of the room. In this space, Melani’s electric energy sways with both intensity and grace, offering a glimpse into the heart of his artistry.
Kolepeace
I spent the day with Christopher Johnson, aka Kolepeace, in his vibrant studio in Baltimore, MD—a space alive with color and creativity. The walls were covered in his bold, dynamic artwork, each piece crafted with spray paint, fire, and a carefully chosen reference photo. As I moved through the studio, I captured the essence of every corner, from the art to the unique creatures who called it home, including his loyal dog and his intriguing tarantula spider. This studio wasn’t just a space—it was a living, breathing testament to the fire and vision that fuel Kolepeace’s artistic journey.
