The Manifest documentary wasn’t just a project—it was a movement. Behind the scenes, the air buzzed with creative energy as dancers and choreographers pushed boundaries and brought raw emotion to life. My camera captured the unguarded moments: the focused stares, explosive movements, and quiet reflections that fueled the vision. Intimate Moments, Dance Edition
Nana in Puerto Viejo
On one of my last days in Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica, I met NaNa on a black sand beach for an unforgettable session. As the waves crashed and the sun dipped low, she poured her emotions into movement, dancing her frustrations into the sand. The rawness of the moment—her strength, vulnerability, and freedom—was mesmerizing. This is what Intimate Moments - Dancers Edition is all about: capturing the soul of dance in its purest, most unguarded form.
LUMINOUS - 2018
In 2018, my love for dance and photography converged in a project called LUMINOUS, an exploration of natural light, flowing fabric, and contemporary movement. The spark came unexpectedly during a party in NYC, where I captured a dancer mid-vogue with her friend—four frames that instantly revealed she was the perfect collaborator for this vision. Powered by the AoK organization, LUMINOUS came to life as an exhibition, gracing the lobby of an office building for a month and later earning a feature in Napizum magazine. This project reaffirmed my passion for telling stories through the artistry of dance and continues to inspire my creative journey.

Hailey Summers x BYAIB Studios Collaboration
In 2020, Byaib Studios teamed up with Dallas-based dancer Hailey Summers for Disco_Very, a one-of-a-kind cupid-style contemporary dance event. This innovative project challenged dancers to connect and move in harmony without physical touch, exploring the boundaries of shared energy and presence. To amplify the experience, Byaib Studios designed and built an ethereal performance space—a custom enclosure of plastic tarp and rope—that became a visual and symbolic centerpiece for the event. Disco_Very was a bold exploration of connection and creativity, showcasing how dance can transcend physical barriers and spark deeper emotional resonance.

Shell Shock DC
Since 2019, Shellshock Division Connection has redefined the DMV dance scene with bold pop-up workshops and conventions. My work captures the energy of their events—the fluid movements, electric atmosphere, and raw connections between dancers. Each image reflects the passion and artistry that drive their mission. Documenting their journey has been a dynamic collaboration, and I’m proud to showcase these moments of movement and meaning.
